A digital turn to RestART creativity

RestART was born as a digital impulse to reactivate the creative sector. One of its tools, the MOOC -Art of RestART Project in Spanish, was tested last quarter with 3 sessions at Centro Universitario EUSA and Chamber of Commerce of Seville, where we collected proposals from vocational training providers and students in the creative and cultural sector.

The Cultural and Creative Sector (CCS) have been strongly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, especially those subsectors most dependent on the presence of public, due to suspended live cultural events, which put more than 7 million jobs at risk in the EU (Morellato et al., 2020).

The CCS is essential for socio-economic recovery, as it can encourage people’s wellbeing and resilience and promote a shared sense of European identity (Wahba et al., 2020; EC, 2020).

INCOMA is participating as a member of the consortium and has participated in the development of the training course, which is available on the website of the project.

Via this open online course, you will be able to enhance your digital as well as transversal skills as a CCS professional and adapt yourself to digitalisation, and transforming markets, while enhancing your business opportunities and competitiveness in the sector.

Digital skills in the workplace can include original content creation, e-commerce, network and information security, digital marketing, social media marketing, and data analytics.

Transversal skills – such as communication skills, team-working skills, customer handling skills, problem solving skills, learning skills and planning and organisation skills.

This training has been developed according to the focus groups and interviews carried out with CSS workers and CSS VET trainers, understanding their digital gaps.

Six Learning modules have been developed:

  • Promotion
  • Digital Marketing
  • Networking
  • Storytelling
  • Content Production
  • Video edition and production
