A very fruitful meeting in Yecla for the My Sweet Smart Home consortium
CEIPES is one of the organisations that collaborates on My Sweet Smart Home project (2021-1-DE02-KA220-VET-000033058). It is a co-funded Erasmus+ project, which has the overall goal of open a new world of opportunities and possibilities for people with disabilities and special needs to live a more independent, autonomous, safe, healthy, comfortable and stimulating life in their own homes.
On the 28th and 29th of March 2023, the partners of the project assisted to the third in-person meeting in Yecla (Spain) hosted by CETEM – Centro Tecnologico del Mueble y la Madera.
It was a very fruitful meeting and they had the opportunity to get up to date on certain aspects of project organization and management, as well as define the next steps of the project. After completing a first phase of research to support the creation of a guide to the needs, problems, interests and solutions in the home for people with disabilities, partners took advantage of the occasion to do a brainstorming about their ideas for a possible structure and contents of the My Sweet Smart Home course, the second result of the project. Arrived at its initial phase of development, this result will be training courses on an interactive e-learning platform, which the contents will concern the installation of various domotic/domotic technologies in the domestic environment. In addition, it was recorded the first podcast radio of the project, where the public will listen to an interview to the different members of the consortium and learn more about them and their participation in the project.
