Reattiva in the framework of the ERASMUS+ KA2 VET project “YOUnique4EU”
In the pandemic time of COVID-19, partner organisations of the ERASMUS+ KA2 for VET project “YOUnique4EU” (2019-1-DE02-KA202-006119) are continuing to successfully cooperate and carry out activities on a distance basis, by organising online conferences via Zoom.
Since soft skills, such as empathy, creativity and complex problem solving, are highly demanded on the labour market, combined to technical skills (OECD 2016: Skills for a Digital World), this project wants to teach VET learners on how to map their social and personal capacities and illustrate those in the application process, in order to succeed in the labour market.
The last online project conference was held on the last 9th April, just before the Easter holidays, during when partners discussed on the development and implementation of the “YOUnique soft skills mapping tool kit” for VET learners facing the application process for an international learning mobility or a job abroad. By using the given tools VET students shall be enabled to identify a strategy on how to meet the host companies’ needs and expectations, be aware of what soft skills to present and how to communicate those convincingly as part of their entire set of talents.
