The month of June was marked by international mobilities dedicated to Esprominho’s staff – Escola Profissional do Minho. Italy, Latvia and Estonia were the destinations of 9 employees of the school, that participated in international projects through the Erasmus+ Programme.
Esprominho is a Portuguese Vocational School that has actively provided, to their students and teachers, unforgettable experiences throughout Europe, through the Erasmus+ Programme. The month of June was dedicated to the staff of the school. Esprominho aims to provide new experiences, but also that teachers and other staff members can develop personal and professional skills through these International Projects Mobilities, of which it is part.
This Adventure started in Italy, between the cities of Deruta and Marsciano, from 5 to 11 June with the two Esprominho staff members – Alex and Wesley. This was the third mobility of the CIAK Project (no. 2019-1-IT02-KA229-063232_3) whose objective is the use of cinema as an educational and communicational tool, which helps stimulate imagination and knowledge of other worlds, developing divergent thinking. In the same week, but with five other Esprominho trainers, the third mobility of the Butterfly Effect to Maths with STEM project (nr. 2020-1-LT01-KA229-077854_6) took place in Riga – Latvia. To finish the month in a big way, dedicated to Esprominho staff, there was another mobility of the Project Embrace dementia in an online environment (No. 2021-1-BE02-KA220-VET-000025664). This Transnational Project Meeting took place in Tallinn, Estonia, on June 28th and 29th. Representing Portugal were Ricardo and Óscar to collaborate in the decisions and preparations of the project which aims to improve teachers’ digital skills and competences, developing interactive and qualitative online teaching modules. This project brings together partners from Portugal, Belgium, Estonia, Netherlands and Spain.
The exchange of cultural experiences, development of digital and social skills, improvement of the English language and professional learning are some of the advantages that these international project activities guarantee. Esprominho promotes these experiences to all those who are part of their school – the Esprominho family!
