EfVET is a member of the Agrifood Pact for Skills, an initiative which aims to get public and private organizations together and encourage them to make concrete commitments to upskilling and reskilling adults.

The Pact for Skills aims to identify current and emerging skills needs in different sectors and regions through in-depth research and analysis, by convening companies, VET providers, universities, agencies. At the same time, the Pact emphasizes the importance of providing accessible and high-quality upskilling and reskilling opportunities for individuals at all stages of their careers.
This event will be an opportunity to exchange insights, showcase successful upskilling and reskilling initiatives, and strengthen partnerships to address the skills gap in the agri-food sector. Over two days, participants will engage in discussions on the future of skills in the sector, explore innovative approaches to workforce development, and foster collaboration among businesses, educational institutions, and policymakers.
As part of the programme, we will also present key insights from the I-RESTART project, in which EfVET participates. The event will not only highlight key trends in sustainability, digitalization, and workforce innovation but also provide a unique opportunity for participants to connect with key stakeholders, gain valuable insights, and contribute to shaping the future of skills development in the agri-food sector.
