Final Conference of the European project EMoCC (European Mobility Career Counselling)
✨ ESMOVIA is pleased to invite you to the Final Conference of the European project EMoCC (European Mobility Career Counselling), which will take place in Milan on December 12th, 2024.
The title of the final conference is Innovating Career Counseling for European Job Mobility. The conference will include plenary sessions and three parallel working groups, providing a comprehensive overview of the project’s goals and outcomes, as well as an in-depth analysis on three key topics:
· Health-related topics in counseling – This session will cover counseling for clients with specific health conditions, such as weight issues or invisible disabilities, and discuss strategies for counselors’ self-care in emotionally demanding situations.
· Diversity to prepare and succeed in mobility and expatriation – This session will focus on overcoming stereotypes that may hinder mobility and explore existing support networks in Europe for career counseling.
· Intercultural capacities across borders – Participants will explore key intercultural competencies needed to successfully navigate an international mobility experience, emphasizing soft skills for cross-cultural interaction.
💬 The outcomes of the parallel sessions will be shared among all participants during the final plenary session, which aims to re-launch the EMoCC project through future initiatives.
