Brussels, 18th Feb. 2025 – The future of the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programs in the hands of their stakeholders
The conference brought together more than 200 experts, including practitioners, policymakers and researchers, many from the VET ecosystem
During the conference, EfVET advocated for a stronger Erasmus+ program, and in particular a stronger role for VET actors. But how to consolidate this strength? EVP Roxana Minzatu mentioned some important points, in addition to the availability of more funding:
- Broader inclusiveness
- Greater alignment to emerging skills and labor market
- Greater flexibility and simplification
- Further investment in #CoVEs
- Preparedness
EfVET, participating to specific workshops on inclusion & outreach and on policy support and impact, was proud to share the merging results of its recent Report on Erasmus+ impact, highlighting its main recommendations:
- Extending Accreditation validity and supporting the development of the Erasmus+ Organizations network
- Funding line dedicated to Higher VET (EQF5)
- A more Global Erasmus+
- Regulation of the role of Supporting Organisations in Erasmus+ via accreditation system
- Expanding Erasmus+ opportunities for people already in the Labor Market (Lifelong learning)
