IntervetWB at EfVET Thematic Team seminar hosted by SEPR, Lyon

At the beginning of May, the EfVET Thematic Team seminar was held in Lyon, which was attended by over 130 participants from the EU and the Western Balkans.
This exceptional gathering was hosted by the SEPR International Department (Société d’Enseignement Professionnel du Rhône) and the organisation deserves only compliments.
In order to foster new synergies among the Thematic Teams, members of each of them — Internationalization & Learning Mobility, Industry and Technology 4.0 in VET, Entrepreneurial Learning, Tourism, Sustainability through VET, Technology Enhanced Learning, and Inclusive Vocational Excellence—organised working sessions, shared success stories, and held workshops.
Within the IntervetWB project, representatives of the International University of Sarajevo, Hilal Karic, and Misada Mehremic participated in the TT seminar. They were accompanied by Sabina Ahmetagic, a teacher from the Gracanica Mixed Secondary School, a professor of mechanical engineering, and Inela Hadzic, a psychologist and pedagogue at the Mixed Secondary School in Cazin.
Mirsada Mehremic took part in the round table “VET getting global” and presented the IntervetWB project, emphasizing the activities undertaken in the implementation of the project so far and the benefits of the InterverWB project to students and teachers of high schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina. During the discussion, the participants of the round table exchanged experiences and emphasized the importance of internationalization of VET systems, and supported the idea of VET getting global.
After a two-year pause brought on by the pandemic, the EfVET Thematic Team event was a fantastic opportunity to strengthen and develop networking, exchange opinions and experiences, showcase current projects, and launch new ones.
The SEPR campus tour was amazing and visits to local stakeholders, socializing, conversations, lunch, dinner, the stunning beauty of Lyon, everything is unforgettable. Thanks, SEPR! Great job!
