IntervetWB first mobility after the pandemic: BH VET students in Wroclaw, Poland
With the improvement of the overall epidemiological situation, preparations have begun for the actual mobility of students and teachers of secondary vocational schools from Bosnia and Herzegovina within the IntervetWB project.
After last year’s selection of students, this spring began preparations for activities for BH high school students to have their first mobility in the Polish city of Wroclaw. Preparations consisted of a 30-hour online English course organised by the IUS English Language School (ELS) and also departure training organised by a representative of Uniser leader of the IntervetWB project.
Students of mixed technical schools from BH cities; Bihac, Bosanska Krupa, Maglaj, Vogosca, Hadzici, Gracanica, and Sarajevo, 11 of them and the leader of the group, IUS student Aida Kadric, are the IntervetWB Round 1 group, traveled to Wroclaw on June 20, 2021.
The internship for our high school students has been postponed for more than a year due to the outbreak of the Covid 19 pandemic. The students did not hide their excitement and for many of them, this will be their first internship ever and also the first in an EU member state. The internship in Wroclaw will last 4 weeks and organised in cooperation with the IntervetWB partner Mode – Move and Develop Foundation, a project partner in Poland. BH students will have the opportunity to have learned by doing experience in companies in Wroclaw.
