EfVET Member IUS Lifelong Learning Center hosted free of charge workshop on digital marketing at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS). The event gathered young people between the ages of 18 and 28 from different cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Summing up a very successful year that was full of various educational activities, on Saturday, December 7th, 2019, IUS Lifelong Learning Center (IUS Life) hosted free of charge workshop on digital marketing.
The lecturers of this event were prominent experts in the field, who shared useful tips and experiences with their own business. Aiming to organize hands-on, interactive educational programs, IUS Life has collaborated with successful marketing agencies in the region; Avokado.rs, Belgrade, Serbia, and Webmajstor.ba Sarajevo, Bosnia, and Herzegovina
At the very beginning, IUS Rector Prof. Dr Ahmet Yildirim welcomed the participants of the workshop and recalled that IUS supports and realizes the need to organize this form of education because ‘today digital marketing is an indispensable segment of business success for educational institutions’. IUS Rector underlined that ‘digital marketing today is the fastest channel of communication with potential students and the most effective way of promotion’.
The lecturers at the workshop talked about their own start-up experience, don’ts and do’s, learning on mistakes but also giving useful guidelines on how to start and grow digital marketing business with a modest investment. During the one-day workshop, the focus was on digital marketing and web development, SEO optimization, PPC and Google advertising. Using specific case studies, the speakers spoke about today’s importance of having a business online, with helpful tips, ideas, and tools that enhance that performance.
In today’s society, the use of digital technologies is no longer a matter of choice but a matter of need, so this was a great opportunity for many young people interested in this field to acquire new knowledge and skills.
The event attracted a lot of attention to young people between the ages of 18 and 28 from different cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
