Learning English for Technical Purposes

The LENTEC (Learning English for Technical Purposes) Project, is a Project Based Learning in Virtual Mobility where many partners have cooperated in developing methods for language learning of students in vocational technical education. Countries involved in the project are: Sweden, Holland, Slovenia, France, Estonia,     Denmark.

The results of the project have been published in ‘The LENTEC Guide to Learning English – Problem Based Learning in Virtual Mobility Projects’. The aim of the guide is to enable teachers and managers to set up similar projects. In connection with the development of the “VET Reform 2000” Ishøj Technical College (DK) developed a number of pedagogical issues, which were published as a booklet by the Ministry of Education in October 2001 “Student influence, teaching teams, and evaluation”. “Teaching teams” was presented in a workshop at the EfVET conference in Sevilla 2002.
