The last Learning Activity (LTTA) of No One Stays Behind (NSB) project was held last week, between May 13th and 17th, 2024, hosted by the Turkish Partner Antalya Anatolian Vocational and Technical High School.
This LTTA had a full agenda that included multiple workshops focused on the Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics (STEAM) methodology applied to training, and on Mentoring Services and their impact on learners’ motivation as a way of preventing early school dropout and with coping with the Not in Education, Employment, or Training (NEET) phenomena – issues addressed by NSB and by its final outcomes.
Moreover, NSB partners were invited by the Antalya Provincial Directorate of National Education to attend the session “Erasmus+ Vocational Education Accreditation from the European Perspective and the Importance of Cooperation for Increasing Quality and Standardization in Vocational Education”, where Susana Nogueira (EfVET) was speaker. NSB was presented to the whole audience, composed of 60 VET Teachers coming from schools across the Antalya Province, as an example of a successful Erasmus+ funded project and consortium.
NSB partners also had the opportunity to visit the School, to talk with its Teachers and Learners, and to explore the Turkish VET system and its connection to the labour market, in addition to cultural visits that allowed them to know a bit more about Antalya’s and Türkiye’s histories.
This LTTA was one more excellent opportunity for NSB partners to strengthen their connections, and to prepare for the Final Conference, hosted by the project’s coordinator Escola Profissional Amar Terra Verde, in Vila Verde, Portugal (July 16th).
