Preparations for the EfVET Conference 2025, scheduled to take place in Fátima, Portugal, from 22-25 October, are already in full swing. 

On the 16th and 17th of January, EfVET Secretariat and Conference Team representatives, Paolo Nardi and Ibon Rejas, visited our next hosts at the Escola de Hotelaria de Fátima (Fátima’s Hospitality School) to start forming a vision for this year’s conference. 

Guided by Elisabete Marques (Technical Director at Fátima’s Hospitality School) and Pedro Major (Executive Director at Insignare), the afternoon of the 16th and early morning of the 17th were dedicated to exploring and discussing the structure and the key organizational elements for #EfVET2025. Later, the 17th, an assembly of EfVET members in Portugal took place, providing a platform to share ideas about key topics and potential speakers for the conference. 

Special thanks go to Luis Costa (Director of ANESPO and Portuguese EfVET coordinator) for organizing the meeting of Portuguese members, as well as to our hosts, Pedro Major and Elisabete Marques, for their warm welcome and help. Of course, many thanks to the learners of the Escola de Hotelaria de Fátima who prepared and catered a 5-star lunch to all guests, already setting the pace for the #excellence of our next Conference.
