TELEGROW: The first results of the project

The TELEGROW project “Enhancing the Teleworking Digital Skills for the Middle-aged employees” is an Erasmus+ KA2 project. By designing appropriate training materials, the project will equip trainers and VET providers with the necessary knowledge and tools to (re)train and update the digital skills of 50+ employees (learners in the project) and help them to work effectively from home – teleworking.

In the last six months, the TeleGrow project partners have met 3 times – the first two virtually and the third one organised as a Transnational Project Meeting in Larissa (Greece) -. These meetings have been an opportunity to discuss the products already completed and the planning of the next work phases. In fact, all activities related to the first two tasks have already been successfully completed, resulting in the following products or Intellectual Outputs (IO):

– IO1: Telegrow Interactive Report. You can download the report here: https://telegrow.erasmus.site/questionnaire/ This product is an interactive map where users will click on a country and get information on telework. The most demanded skills are presented statistically according to the answers to the questionnaires, and an additional comparative graph presents the deviations in skills for each group.

– IO2: Guide on How to Stay gOLD You can download the report here: https://telegrow.erasmus.site/io2-how-to-stay-gold-guide/ “How to Stay gOLD Training Guide” is a digital soft skills guide on work-life balance and a modular training tool with transversal skills applied in telework contexts focused on maintaining the balance between personal and professional life. The guide is divided into 5 chapters, each relating to a soft skill. Each chapter is built following the logic of a learning path with tips, methods and examples/good practices on how VET students and especially employers over the age of 50 will maintain a balance between extremely demanding working conditions and stressful people and their personal life and consequent responsibilities.

These two reports are accessible both on the official website of the project and on all Telegrow’s social networks. These documents can also be found in the different partner languages.

The Telegrow partners are currently developing the IO3: “How to TeleGrow Old Training Modules” which consists of the development of the different training modules of the Telegrow project. At the same time, a LTTA (Learning, Teaching & Training Activity) will take place in Larisa (Greece) from 5 to 9 September. This training activity will serve for testing the Modules and the Trainer’s Notes developed in the previous months. In this event each partner is invited to attend with 3 participants: 1 Staff member, 1 VET trainer and 1 VET learner 50+.

The Telegrow project is an Erasmus+ KA226 – Partnerships for Digital Education Readiness project (24 months 01/03/2021 – 28/02/2023) and the partnership is composed by:

Coordinator: FLORIDA CENTRE DE FORMACIÓ COOP.V. (Spain) P1. STOWARZYSZENIE CENTRUM WSPIERANIA EDUKACJI I PRZEDSIEBIORCZOSCI – CWEP (Poland) P2. KAINOTOMIA & SIA EE (Greece) P3.
