The second “Transnational Project” meeting of Euro4VET

The main purpose of Euro4VET project is to boost knowledge on how to teach European Union subjects in VET schools across Europe, by developing a training course for teachers (built on micro-credentials) and for students, with contents that will raise awareness for the relevance of being an active EU citizen, and for the existent EU institutions and their role on citizens’ daily lives.

For the second time since its beginning, in January 2024, Euro4VET partners met in person in Kokkola (FI), on November 25th and 26th, hosted  by KPEDU.

This meeting was an important step towards setting the next phase of the project implementation, including:

  • Analysis of the pilots of the Training Course for VET Teachers, hosted by Instituto Politécnico de Leiria/School of Education and Social Sciences (Portugal), to understand the need for adjustments based on the participants’ feedback;
  • Setting the structure of the Training Course for VET Students, and the type of innovative approaches to their practical part;
  • Discussions on the Euro4VET Conference (to be held during the EfVET Annual Conference, in Fátima – 22 to 25 of October, 2025).

During the meeting, partners also had time to go into the podcasts already made by teachers and students on Euro4VET “3 Minutes of Europe”, to check the quality of the sessions, which are available in all languages of the partnership, HERE.

The next meeting of Euro4VET will be hosted by Escola Pia de Mataró (in Barcelona, in June 2025), during which the EU Virtual Skills Competition will be prepared, as well as the study visit to EU institutions by the wining teachers and students.

Until then, many initiatives will take place in the scope of this Jean Monnet project! Access HERE, and follow Euro4VET social media channels (Facebook and LinkedIn), to keep updated on what will happen next and when the Teachers’ and Students’ course will be completed, as they can be implemented afterwards by all of EfVET Members!
