IIS Brunelleschi Da Vinci (Italy)

logobRUNELLESCHIThe 12 selected students from IIS Brunelleschi/Da Vinci , Frosinone (Italy) have just completed their two weeks dedicated to school/technical and vocational training at Tradium technical institute in Randers (Denmark). This project has been made possible thanks to the EFVET network and the INNOTECS Erasmus Project. The aim of the INNOTECS project is to exchange good practices, enhance the interest toward technical studies ,promote stages and exchange of students and teachers.

Thanks to the important cooperation existing between IIS Brunelleschi /Da Vinci and the danish Tradium,12 students of the business and surveyor branch have been carefully selected to carry out an intensive and important vocational training activity abroad. Accompanied by their headmaster, Mrs Patrizia Carfagna, and by four teachers, Mrs E. Furlan, Mrs G.Gramiccia, Mr A. De Luca and Mr D. Giaccari, the italiano students have attended high value theorical and practical lessons concerning their field of specialization by means of group work , cooperative learning, problem solving and flipped classroom activities

Lessons and communication were exclusively in English thus enhancing their knowledge of the language and of specific technical/vocational language. Students have been offered the possibility to compare the italian and the danish educational systems too. This extraordinary experience has enormously contributed to boost the students knowledges and skills, thus confirming the european and international dimension of IIS Brunelleschi/Da Vinci.

Students have also had the possibility to visit Randers, Aahrus and Copenhagen. In May, IIS Brunelleschi Da Vinci is welcoming a group of 11 danish students and 4 teachers from Tradium. The two weeks they are going to spend in Italy will be the occasion to strenghten and consolidate those practices experienced in Denmark.
