VET4ALL project beyond COVID-19 Online Dissemination Event

VET4ALL project beyond COVID-19 Online Multiplier Final Event

The Covid-19 has strongly affected VET4ALL project globally. Due to the COVID pandemic VET4ALL dissemination event was on December 14th 2020, online event by EfVET. Over 45 participants took part in our online multiplier event to discuss the challenges social inclusion face in the EU and what measures can be implemented to safeguard them. The main goal of this dissemination event was to introduce the four intellectual outputs of VET4ALL project.

The main aim of this event was to focus on the presentation of the IO1, IO2, IO3, IO4, but also on a good practice on how the regional and local can support.

The dissemination event was opened by Valentina Chanina. She then introduced the main resources of VET4ALLproject:

– IO1 – VET4ALL Didactical Guidelines for training VET staff working with students with disabilities and special needs.
– IO2 – VET4ALL Training Curriculum for VET Staff working with students with disabilities and special needs in work-based learning.
– IO3 – VET4ALL in-company Mentors Vademecum – a very practical handbook to be distributes to Mentors in order to support students with disabilities and special needs throughout their internship experiences
– IO4 – VET4ALL Mobility Vademecum for accompanying persons. The aim of this vademecum is to provide support to the accompanying persons during mobility experiences and to the EU hosting enterprise.

After the introduction, Luis Miranda (EARLALL) who represents the European Association of Regional and Local Authorities for Lifelong Learning followed the presentation. One of the good practices presented was the Bridge+ project which is building up regional initiatives to develop skills-based guidance.

Participants were highly motivated, and we have a good discussion after all presentations. The participants liked the outcomes of the project.

There were the most discussed topics and recommendation during this multiplier event: VET4ALL partners should promote more IO’s at National and Regional level and that could be interesting for companies to improve support students with disabilities and special needs throughout mobility experiences
