Have you ever wondered about the many opportunities in higher vocational education?
The QUAHVET project, co-funded by Erasmus+, was created to help students, graduates, and counselors explore and understand the potential of EQF Level 5 – Higher Vocational Education and Training (HVET) across Europe.
QUAHVET came to life to enhance participation in HVET pathways by providing clear information on study options, qualifications, and career prospects. It supports high school graduates and diploma holders in discovering how HVET programs can open doors to meaningful employment and lifelong learning. At the same time, the project strengthens the role of career counselors, offering them resources and training to provide more effective, inclusive, and informed guidance.
The project created QUAHVET Digital Gateway, a comprehensive online platform that acts as an interactive hub for information, tools, and resources on HVET systems and opportunities. It connects VET students, graduates, and career counsellors across Europe through one simple goal — making career pathways clearer and easier to navigate. For students and graduates it works like a career compass showing the pathway that studies can lead to specific professions. For counsellors and educators, it provides data on qualifications, mobility opportunities, and labour market trends, making guidance more informed, personalised, and effective. Digital Gateway helps learners discover study or work options beyond their country’s borders by linking national qualification frameworks.
By improving guidance, awareness, and cooperation, QUAHVET is shaping a more connected and inclusive future for vocational education in Europe — helping learners find their path and thrive in a changing world.
