EAEA | EU and Adult Learning – 30 years of partnership in policy and programmes
EAEA would like to invite you to the high-level celebratory event “EU and Adult Learning – 30 years of partnership in policy and programmes” on 10 December, 16.30 – 19.30, at the European Parliament (TBC). The event is endorsed by MEP Sirpa Pietikäinen (EPP) and MEP Aodhan O’Riordain (S&D) and co-organised with GO! Education of the Flemish Community.
The event will celebrate three decades of adult learning and education (ALE) in EU policy and 25 years since the launch of the Grundtvig programme. With keynote speeches by Vanessa Debiais-Sainton, Member of cabinet of Executive Vice-President Roxana Minzatu and Alan Smith, member of the team that created Erasmus and the first EU Coordinator of Grundtvig, we will initiate a discussion on the inspirations behind today’s Erasmus+ programme and the role of adult learning in it. We will build a bridge between the last 30 years and the future, beyond the current programme.
