EfVET is organising the workshop “Inclusive Regions, Safer Spaces: Local and Regional Approaches to Gender Equality, Wellbeing and Digital Safety in Education” in the European Week of Regions and Cities in partnership with FORMA.Azione, the European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA) and the European Association of Regional and Local Authorities for Lifelong Learning (EARLALL).

The Workshop is organised under the theme “The Right to Stay: unlocking the potential of every territory” and features emerging cooperation between VET Schools and Regional Institutions, showcasing how grassroots initiatives can inform EU-wide strategies in supporting digital safe spaces, and counter gender-based violence and disinformation.

The European Week of Regions and Cities is the biggest annual Brussels-based event during which cities and regions showcase their capacity to create growth and jobs, implement European Union Cohesion policy, and prove the importance of the local and regional level for good European governance.
