Accessible tourism matters because it ensures that everyone — people with disabilities, older adults, families, and anyone with temporary limitations — can enjoy travel safely and independently. It reflects a commitment to inclusion, human rights, and social responsibility, while also offering strong economic benefits for destinations. By removing barriers and adopting universal design, accessible tourism improves the quality of experiences for all visitors and makes destinations more competitive, welcoming, and sustainable.

The masterclass will be lectured by Sara Piana from Turismabile, who has been in charge of organizing the 3rd World Summit on Accessible Tourism and will tell us why this topic is important and explore ways to convey the importance to our students
