Developer of resources for Computer Assisted Language Learning since 1982. He was awarded the “European Label” in 1999 for a CLIL project named the “Web Page Task”. Kent has authored/co-authored and coordinated twelve successful EC co-funded project applications, most of them having EfVET as the dissemination partner. One project, POOLS, was awarded the European Silver Award for Innovation and Creativity in Lifelong Learning. In April 1998 Kent set up the first EfVET website and registered the domain efvet.org.
Kent was the EfVET webmaster for more than a decade and was member of the Steering Committee 2000-2007. In the first years the website was designed by a teacher at Odense Tekniske Skole, the site was a traditional website with members and guest areas, but in 2005 the site became more dynamic retrieving content from a database.
Kent retired as webmaster to pave the way for more focused day to day lobbying of EfVET strategies in Brussels at the EC, which would demand permanent staff in the EfVET office.
Kent was language teacher and project coordinator at the OTS/SDE vocational college for 39 years. After his retirement he has set up a private company FAZ in order to participate in projects and to assist partners with writing applications and coordinating Erasmus+ KA2 projects.
