Nicola Alimenti

I worked for 15 years in an Italian Center of Vocational Excellence (Public Private Partnership – ENE member) with the main responsibility of internationalizing it. I built up its international strategy, projects, networks, and office, leading the international team of the VET provider, a network of 90 partners in 25 EU and non-EU countries, cooperation and innovation projects, and 1600 training mobilities. Throughout this journey, EfVET has been a solid network to meet partners, professionals, key stakeholders, and friends. I believed in the community-based learning opportunities of the network, leading a Thematic Team for 3 years, boosting active engagement and commitment of members to achieve common goals and objectives. Bringing students with an active role in the annual EfVET conference was one of my best professional achievements.

Since 2016, I have been an expert evaluator for several Erasmus+ National Agencies and for a Company Training Fund, having the opportunity to evaluate more than 2000 projects and final reports. I analyzed international and national policies, selected projects to be funded and best practices to be awarded, evaluated and drafted reports, and provided input for programming. I stepped into European territorial cooperation in 2024 to animate the Interreg Alcotra programme for the Region Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur in France.

I am proud to be an honorary member of EfVET. VET is a lifelong passion that, with this honorary membership, I will continue to develop and grow. United in diversity!
