Digital Transition for VET

DT4VET is an Erasmus+ cooperation project led by CELF (Center for Erhvervsrettede uddannelser Lolland-Falster) with partners Tampereen Aikuiskoulutussäätiö sr (TAKK), Universität Rostock and European Forum of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (EfVET).

Its aim is to develop a practical and transferable model to help VET institutions implement sustainable digital transformation at three levels: management, teachers and learners.

Activities

  • Develop a digitalisation strategy tool for VET management
  • Create a faculty assessment tool to measure institutional digital readiness
  • Design a teacher self-assessment tool (based on DigCompEdu/SELFIE guidelines)
  • Produce micro-credential courses on innovative education technologies
  • Write a handbook and guidelines for integrating digital tools into VET pedagogy
  • Develop a digital tool and transversal course for learners’ digital formation
  • Create trade-specific digital skills courses linked to workplace needs
  • Test and evaluate tools through partner implementation and feedback
  • Disseminate methods, tools, and lessons learnt across European VET networks

Expected results

  • A Digitalisation Roadmap for VET institutions
  • Practical tools for management decision-making on digital transition
  • Measurable improvement in teachers’ digital pedagogical competences
  • Stronger learners’ digital readiness for education and the labour market
  • A replicable framework adaptable across different European VET systems
  • Case studies and guidance supporting long-term adoption beyond the partnership
  • Wide European visibility and uptake through EfVET’s practitioner network
