The Dualiza-Orienta Call by FPEmpresa and CaixaBank Dualiza opens applications to promote innovative vocational guidance actions

  • The initiative supports projects by educational centres that strengthen active and proactive guidance towards Vocational Education and Training (VET).
  • The application period will remain open from 12 January to 2 February 2026.

The Association of Vocational Education and Training Centres FPEmpresa and CaixaBank Dualiza have opened the application period for the Dualiza-Orienta Call, an initiative aimed at supporting innovative, high-impact guidance actions that bring Vocational Education and Training closer to Primary, Secondary and Upper Secondary students, and reinforce the role of VET centres as active agents in guidance processes.

The call is designed to support guidance actions to be carried out during the first half of 2026, specifically between 1 March and 30 June, and which contribute to greater and better awareness of VET as a high-quality educational pathway with strong employability prospects.

Public or private educational centres across the country that offer Level D or E VET programmes and are registered in the State Register of Non-University Educational Centres may participate, either individually or in collaboration with other centres, companies or organisations from their local environment.

The Director of CaixaBank Dualiza, Paula San Luis, highlighted “the importance of this call, which remains true to the commitment with which it was launched: supporting educational centres by providing them with the resources needed to promote guidance towards Vocational Education and Training. Doing so, and doing so through educational centres, is essential to raise the visibility of VET, to make it known to those who are still unaware of its potential, and to remind everyone that it is a key option through which young people can design life pathways within their own communities.”

The President of FPEmpresa, Luis García Domínguez, stated that “guidance is a key element to ensure that students can make educational decisions based on sufficient information and aligned with social realities and labour market needs. From the Association, we firmly believe that Vocational Education and Training centres must play a very important role in this process, bringing VET closer to earlier educational stages and clearly showcasing the many opportunities it offers. Calls such as Dualiza-Orienta help to strengthen this work, recognise the efforts of guidance professionals and move towards a VET system that is better known, more accessible and more closely connected to people’s professional futures.”

Guiding towards a better future

The Dualiza-Orienta Call is framed within the recognition, set out in the new Vocational Education and Training Law, of the strategic importance of guidance as a key element enabling students to build flexible, well-informed learning pathways aligned with their interests and abilities.

The actions submitted may be aimed at any of the Professional Families offered for the 2025–2026 academic year, with particular attention to those linked to the industrial, technological and STEAM fields, as well as initiatives that promote equal opportunities and the elimination of gender bias in VET.

The call also focuses on encouraging female vocations in technical professions, fostering experiential and hands-on guidance activities, and strengthening collaboration between educational centres, companies and other social and territorial stakeholders.

The selected initiatives, evaluated by a Committee appointed by the organising entities, will receive financial support of up to €2,500. The resolution of the supported projects will be announced during the first week of March 2026 and published on the CaixaBank Dualiza website.

Through this Dualiza-Orienta Call, CaixaBank Dualiza and FPEmpresa aim to strengthen guidance as a key lever for bringing VET closer to society, improving the quality of information available to students and families, and consolidating a modern, innovative Vocational Education and Training system connected to the productive reality.

The application period will be open from 12 January to 2 February 2026, and applications must be submitted via this link.
