On 22 and 23 September 2026, as a member of All Digital, EfVET took part in the All Digital Summit 2026 in Belgrade, Serbia.
All Digital is a European network of organisations working for digital inclusion. More than 200 participants from 107 organisations and 30 countries attended this year’s summit. The theme, “Digital wellbeing for a competitive Europe”, framed the two days around one question: can Europe become more competitive while keeping people’s wellbeing at the centre of the digital transition?

The AD Summit in a nutshell
The opening keynote speaker started with a critical eye at AI, warning about the growing gap between those who benefit from AI and those left behind. And the second day’s morning keynote speaker, MEP Irena Joveva, presented digital inclusion as a European strength and called for citizens’ wellbeing to guide digitalisation, so that progress benefits everyone.
On AI, participants explored where the AI Act is heading, a panel tested whether Europe’s ethical framework works for small organisations, educators and researchers and a hands-on workshop introduced simple AI tools for everyday work.
Digital wellbeing was examined from several angles. Researchers and policymakers from various countries discussed the evidence on young people, screens and stress, as phone bans spread across European schools.
On skills, the European Training Foundation led a discussion on effective digital skills policy and regional cooperation. Some members from across Europe shared how they use DigComp, from individual learning accounts to skills audits for public sector workers.
Finally, an EU funding panel discussion brought together the European Commission, EQAVET, Good Things Foundation and the Lifelong Learning Platform to discuss how smaller organisations can access support.

Showcasing the European Digital Education Hub
In line with the Summit’s focus on inclusion and skills, EfVET showcased a European Commission initiative: the European Digital Education Hub (EDEH). At its stand in the Digital Village, EfVET shared brochures and flyers on the Hub’s squads and community workshops. In a lightning talk, we presented the Hub’s community of practice of 7,500+ members from 90+ countries, its 18 expert squads and its voice in EU digital education policy.

What’s next
In November, ALL DIGITAL will take the Summit’s messages to European policymakers in Brussels. The next edition will take place in Bari, Italy, in 2027, co-hosted with IDCERT.
EfVET looks forward to attending and continue working with All Digitial and the rest of the members in digital inclusion and education.
