About the 34th edition of the Don Bosco National Award

The Salesian School “Nuestra Señora del Pilar” in Zaragoza organises the 34th edition of the Don Bosco National Award, which has as its main objective the promotion of creativity, research and innovation among young people. In addition, it places special emphasis on individual development and insertion into the labour market of students.

In carrying out these projects, a series of crucial skills and aptitudes are reinforced, such as: collaboration, perseverance, commitment, autonomy, and effort. On the other hand, through the innovation and research projects carried out, the intention is to encourage the active participation of the entire educational community and related sector companies, in order to give collaborative work and the entrepreneurial spirit a leading role.

In this 34th edition, innovation and research of young students who see in their projects new forms of entrepreneurship in the different proposed categories prevail. Within the Research Area: category Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, etc.) and category Health Sciences and Social and Legal Sciences (Medicine, Psychology, Humanities, etc.); within the Technological Innovation Area: Information and Communication Technologies category (Telecommunications, Audiovisual Technologies, ICT, etc.) and Industrial Technologies category (Electronics, Robotics, Mechatronics, etc.).

The Don Bosco national awards are financed entirely by private capital and it is thanks to the participation of sponsors and collaborators that the initiative is consolidated year after year.

In these awards, students of Professional Training (Basic Professional Training, Middle Grade, Higher Grade) and Baccalaureate may participate. Those applicants who wish to submit their projects must submit the application for online registration through this link before December 1, 2020.
