WP3 – Fostering Social Inclusion In VET Systems – DC-VET WB

 

🍂September always means the beginning of a new school year and a lot of preparations and activities so that students and teachers have a fresh new start. In SSC Hadzici, September also marked the beginning of pilot activities of the DC-VET WB project, especially work package 3, Fostering Social Inclusion In VET Systems.

🍂In the past few weeks, Prof. Jasmina Pezo organized several interactive workshops that allowed students to practically apply what they learned in the school environment. 🍂All the workshops held so far are equally interesting and important, but we will mention only a few;

🥛“How to separate butter from milk?” Traditionally making butter, by whisking buttermilk in a wooden bowl.

 

 

 

☕“The Secret of the Perfect Cup” workshop was created to learn about the preparation and serving of coffee, which the students made individually, and also treated their teachers with their coffee creation.

 

 

🐑”Wool Jewelry” and “Be a Conservator Too” workshops encouraged the students to explore cultural diversity and habits, jewelry-making techniques from natural materials such as wool, and methods of cultural heritage conservation. Interactively, they learned about the preservation of natural and cultural heritage and developed an awareness of the importance of  civic responsibility as well as giving and sharing.

 

🍎More to come this fall such as an apple festival, gift-wrapping workshops, sharing and giving, etc.
