EfVET and UNEVOC signed a Letter of Intent for a stronger coordination

Bonn, Germany – 12 December 2024A letter of intent for mutual collaboration and stronger coordination was signed between the European Forum of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (EfVET) & the International Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (UNESCO-UNEVOC).

The letter was signed at the presence of Stefano Tirati, EfVET Vice-President for Outreach Strategy, Paolo Nardi, EfVET Executive Director, and Friedrich Huebler, Head of UNESCO-UNEVOC and Kenny Muscat, Project Manager in the Bridging Innovation and Learning in TVET (BILT) Project.

The main goal is to promote excellence in VET and global cooperation for innovation. EfVET and UNEVOC expressed their mutual intention to cooperate on some concrete actions to facilitate knowledge sharing, to promote new capacity building initiatives and to advocate for VET as a driver for a more competitive but, above all, more just and peaceful world.

Encouraging a more ecosystemic approach is crucial for EfVET, as stated in our Strategy 2022-2026. The collaboration with our colleagues at UNEVOC and their 200+ centres worldwide is a huge step to achieve the goal of empowering VET for the present and coming challenges.
