Euro4VET partners gathered in Mataró (ES) for the third Transnational Partners’ Meeting, hosted by Escola Pia de Mataró, on June 25th and 26th, 2025.
With a full agenda, this meeting allowed partners to make an overview of the achievements reached so far in the project, including:
- Euro4VET training course aimed at VET Teachers (addressing European Union’s History, Values and Institutions – 30 hours);
- Euro4VET hybrid training course aimed at VET Students (addressing the EUs’ everyday life, its building process, the relevance of being an active citizen, and the Future of Europe – 25 hours);
- Europe Day 2025 celebrations, carried out in May 9th with an active participation of teachers and students of all VET partners of Euro4VET project, in Finland, Portugal, Spain, North Macedonia and Türkiye (resulting in a new Days of Europe Kit, available at https://euro4vet.wixsite.com/euro4vet/kits-days-of-europe-2025);
- Euro4VET “3 Minutes of Europe” Podcast, which contains several episodes recorded by teachers and students, where they provide their perspectives about key issues faced within the European Union, translated into the languages of the countries represented in the partnership (available at https://open.spotify.com/show/61W91pFD7pE54ELs3Ljldc).
This meeting also provided to partners the chance for discussing and agreeing on the next steps towards the Euro4VET activities to be held until the end of 2025:
- Creation of an online platform dedicated to the virtual EU Skills Competition, with questions related to the contents of both training courses (September);
- The implementation of the virtual EU Skills Competition, with 10 teams of teachers and students (involved in the pilot of the above-mentioned Euro4VET training courses) from the countries of the partnership (October);
- National Skills Competition, with the winners of the EU Skills Competition (November).
Hosted by EfVET, the winners of the National Skills Competition will travel to Brussels, in February 2026, to visit EU institutions and to better understand how they operate in the context of an active European citizenship.
