Digitally upskilling tourism organisations -TourINN-act

 

TourINN-act, is a co-funded project by the COSME programme of the European Union. Its consortium is comprised by 6 organisations from 5 EU countries including Romania, Cyprus, Italy, Spain, and Greece. Eurosuccess Consulting who is the Cypriot representative of EfVET is a project partner in this consortium.

The TourINN-act project aims to boost the uptake of digitalization and innovation by tourism SMEs through specific transnational cooperation and capacity building actions and the provision of financial support to a minimum of 60 tourism SMEs from different countries in the form of vouchers. Through these actions, the project aims to develop new organizational models for the management of tourism spaces and innovative solutions for the modernization of the tourism experience, improving the fruition of the tourist offer and making SMEs more sustainable and profitable in the medium-long term.

In its attempt to provide financial support for tourism SMEs’ digital transition, the consortium announced two rounds of open calls in the participating EU countries.

By choosing from a selection of previously identified by the consortium digital solutions and providers (which included website development, digital marketing, e-commerce services, digital identity, app development, counselling, etc.), tourism SMEs had an opportunity to gain access to a voucher of up to 10k for the purchasing and implementation of relevant digital solutions.

A total of 63 tourism SMEs from the partner countries were approved for receiving funding from the project for utilizing in the digital solution(s) of their choice. Find out more about TourINN-act here.
