In a comprehensive scientific briefing commissioned by Movetia, the Swiss Observatory for Vocational Education and Training OBS SFUVET identifies both the existing barriers and specific ‘levers’ required to strengthen the engagement of Swiss vocational actors in European mobility and cooperation initiatives.
Prof. Dr. Lukas Graf and Dr. Agata A. Lambrechts of the Swiss Observatory for Vocational Education and Training OBS SFUVET conducted a study to investigate why the Swiss vocational education and training (VET) sector experiences lower transnational engagement compared to several of its European counterparts. The VETengage project identified structural, cultural, and programmatic barriers that currently affect Swiss participation in cross-border partnerships and international mobility of learners.
