Mobility in Sarajevo
On June 10, we bid a farewell to a wonderful group of Italian students who spent the past month doing their internships in companies in Sarajevo. A huge thanks goes to Lilium Digital, FabLab, IUS FENS and IUS RDC for ensuring these students had the best one-month internship experience possible.
Lorenzo G, Edoardo, Simone D, Lorenzo E, Syed Haris, Simone G, Yasser, and their dedicated accompanying person, Mr. Maodo Malick Diob, arrived on May 13. It feels like just yesterday they were here, getting oriented at IUS. Their journey wasn’t easy as they had to dive into Bosnian traditions, starting with making the traditional cake, Hurmašica!
This was a fantastic day for them to bond and mingle with their housemates. During their stay, the group also enjoyed a cultural trip to Mostar, accompanied by our amazing Erasmus buddies, who are always there to help students feel at home. Yesterday, at the certificate award ceremony, each student presented about their stay in Bosnia. They all emphasized the delicious food, friendly people, and the unique charm of Sarajevo. They expressed a strong desire to return someday!
We wish these incredible young men all the luck in their future endeavors and hope to see them again in Sarajevo and at IUS!
