IntervetWB – Bosnia and Herzegovina Students Mobility – Wroclaw, Poland
Due to the almost one-year pandemic caused by the COVID-19, the IntervetWB project is still in its virtual format and the realisation of the planned activities is adjusting to the new normal.
The selection of applicants for the first of the mobility calls in Wroclaw, Poland has been completed and 11 VET school students from Bosnia and Herzegovina have received these valuable scholarships. All applicants certainly deserve congratulations on their efforts and creativity to present themselves in the best possible way.
The selected students did not hide their happiness and excitement for going to Wroclaw and their teachers and school officials are proud that the selected students are from their schools.
Among the 11 selected students are Nedzad Smajlovic and Danis Bradaric, students of the Mixed High School Maglaj, who were a little surprised that they were chosen but delighted with this exceptional opportunity.
The two of them are students of the Electro-technical field and their expectations are through practical work learn more about their future profession but also discover Wroclaw, Poland, meet other students who will be in this first mobility, etc.
Professor of the technical group of courses, Dino Cerimagic has only words of praise for his students, emphasizing not only their good grades but also their extracurricular activities, volunteering, and their social responsibility in his community. Professor Cerimagic believes that student mobility is an exceptional opportunity for personal and professional development, broadening horizons, getting to know different societies and cultures. He is also proud that two students from Maglaj School have been selected and he gives them credits for that.
The news of the selection of Nedzad and Danis had considerable attention in this small town. The local TV station made a video about the IntervetWB project, a selection for the first mobility, and an interview with these hard-working students. Mayor Maglaj, Mr. Mirsad Mahmutagic congratulated and held a welcome meeting with Nedzad, Danis, and Professor Dino Cerimagic. Maglaj is a small town located in northern Bosnia and Herzegovina and has a population of 24,980 inhabitants. Maglaj is an industrial city and still suffers the consequences of the devastation that occurred during the 1992-1995 war.
