INTERVETWB students mobility from Italy completed in Sarajevo
A group of high school students from various cities in northern Italy completed student internships in Sarajevo from May 23 to June 15, 2022, as part of the Accreditamento Alternativo Joint Hosting project.
For the first time, the International University of Sarajevo’s IUS Lifelong learning center served as the hosting organisation and did their best to help the students feel at home in Sarajevo.
For most of them, this was their first work experience, but also their first visit to the Western Balkan region.
This group of young but very responsible people received nothing but praise from the companies they worked for.
All of their company mentors are very proud of their work ethics and say that it was a real pleasure to have them on internship in their companies.
They made new friends, explored Sarajevo, the surrounding Trebevic mountain and Mostar, and went home, hopefully with fond memories from Sarajevo.
We would especially want to thank Claudia Calamia, the inspiring leader of this wonderful group, for making our work easier. We wish her the best of luck in all of her future Erasmus + endeavors.
We also thank the Sarajevo Canton companies; Akta.ba, FabLab, Belissima d.o.o. EkoPak d.o.o. Hotel Austria, Railways FBH, for their support for this project and gave Italian high-schoolers internship opportunities.
We would especially want to thank our partner Chamber of Economy FBH.
On the Uniser blog, you may learn more about student impressions after their mobility in Sarajevo.
