The JU High School of Business, Commerce, and Trade, Sarajevo, carried out several noteworthy activities as part of the WP3 Fostering Social Inclusion package, in which students from the IPP program participated alongside their peers.Â
The first activity was a visit to the Post Office, a very interesting one because it wasn’t just learning about postal services but also a lesson in community and responsibility.
đź“© One of the highlights of the trip was writing and mailing postcards.
đź“© The students carefully addressed their postcards to friends and family.
đź“© They also had the opportunity to apply the skills they had learned at school.
đź›’ The second activity is titled Shopping but actually Shopping for Ingredients and Supplies.
đź›’ Students visited local shops to purchase essential ingredients and utensils for their recipes.
đź›’ They practiced important everyday tasks such as budgeting, made informed choices, and prepared for the cooking session, fostering independence and responsibility in a real-world setting.
👩‍🍳After the completed shopping, the third activity of the cooking session followed
👩‍🍳 It must be emphasized that this activity was really Cooking in Action👨‍🍳
🍰 During the cooking session, students applied their skills by preparing and baking their selected recipes.
🍰 They worked collaboratively, followed instructions, and gained hands-on experience in meal preparation.
