On November 19, 2021, The Chamber of Economy of FBiH marked the International Day of Women Entrepreneurs and presented “B2B Platform for Online Business Meetings and Networking of Women Entrepreneurs and Businesswomen”.

In cooperation with the Gender Center of FBiH, the Chamber of Economy of FBiH created a unique B2B Platform which enables free online presentations of women entrepreneurs and successful businesswomen, their presence in a virtual environment, but above all, a platform that enables their online networking – communication and online meetings, which is very important in the nowadays business operations. At the same time, the B2B Platform gives access to useful information and advice especially concerning publishing public calls for available grants by local and foreign investors.

Besides, on the occasion of November 19 – Women’s Entrepreneurship Day, the Chamber of Economy of FBiH, in cooperation with its partner IUS Life – Lifelong Learning Center of the International University of Sarajevo, organised training on “Digital Marketing for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME)” for the women entrepreneurs and businesswomen who attended the event.

IUS Life, apart from organising this seminar, presented the University and the activities of the Center emphasizing the current projects financed by the European Commission.

IUS Life representative, Prof. Sibela Beširević presented the IntervetWB project focused on the internationalization of vocational education in the countries of the Western Balkans through student internships and teaching staff training in EU countries. The partner of the Project in Bosnia and Herzegovina is IUS Life.

Also, the upcoming Erasmus+ KA1 Hosting project will be implemented by IUS Life in cooperation with the Italian Mobility provider, Uniser in Bologna. During the first phase of the project, high school students from Italy will do internships in companies in Canton Sarajevo.

Prof. Beširević invited the attendees to support this project by giving an opportunity to high school students from Italy to do internships in their companies.

During the two-day meeting, besides education and business discussions, the women entrepreneurs had a chance to socialize, relax and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of Hotel Austria at Ilidža.
