Marijampole students gained European experience

22 students of Marijampole VET centre (Lithuania) students gained European experience in  Italy, Malta and Portugal thanks to Erasmus + program project “European Experience for a Successful Professional Future”.

The future specialists of road construction and maintenance learned how Maltese roads are being handled, repaired, the future chefs specialized in seafood, builders (decorators) worked in  Portugal.

All students have benefited from the placement abroad, as the project aims not only to improve their professional skills. Everyone improved their English language skills, better understood the teamwork, learned how to manage their finances, interacted with other people and found new friends. The host organizations organized trips around the most interesting places in the country or region, see the Mediterranean and the Adriatic Sea, the longest European bridge and many other interesting things that students heard or read before.

Since most of these students are graduating the Center this year, Marijampole region will gain skilled, educated, motivated and hardworking young people with good European experience.
