Barnsley College is a large further and higher education provider in South Yorkshire, UK, delivering a wide range of academic and vocational programmes. The College offers study pathways from entry level to higher education, including A Levels, T Levels, apprenticeships and university-level qualifications.
With over 9,000 learners and apprentices, Barnsley College plays a key role in the local and regional skills system, working closely with employers and partners to deliver industry-relevant training.
The College has recently begun to develop its international activity, supported by Turing Scheme funding, and is keen to expand its global engagement. We are currently building partnerships with European organisations with a view to participating in future Erasmus+ opportunities. In parallel, an international strategy is being developed to embed global engagement across all curriculum areas and ensure that internationalisation becomes an integral part of teaching, learning and partnership working across the College.
