ECOLE is a vocational training and job services provider within the Italian industrial system. Established by 7 sectoral and territorial associations belonging to the Confindustria network, we represent a strategic bridge between education, training and industry, operating primarily in Lombardy with a consolidated national and European reach.
We operate as a reference point for CVET and job services, delivering upskilling and reskilling programmes aligned with labour market needs, while maintaining a strong link with IVET through close cooperation with schools, ITS institutions and universities. This dual positioning allows us to effectively address skills mismatches and support smooth school-to-work transitions. ECOLE delivers on average 15,000 training hours per year, serving approximately 1,000 client companies and managing more than 700 training projects annually, with a turnover of about €4.5 million. Our training offer integrates technical, digital, managerial and soft skills, combining classroom-based learning with work-based learning, experiential methodologies and on-the-job training.
ECOLE is deeply embedded in the Lombardy innovation ecosystem and it is connected to territorial ecosystems and innovation hubs and Digital Innovation Hubs. Within this framework, ECOLE contributes to the design and implementation of training, reskilling and upskilling activities closely connected to real industrial environments, supporting SMEs in areas such as Industry 4.0, digital transformation, advanced manufacturing, automation and emerging technologies.
At regional level, ECOLE is accredited for the delivery of training and job services and for the certification of competences according to the Lombardy Regional Qualification Framework. This includes the validation and recognition of skills acquired through formal, non-formal and informal learning pathways, strengthening employability and workforce mobility.
