“Mobiliteach – In-depth sectoral specialisation of VET teachers” project held a week training course in Bologna
From March 7th to 10th, 3 INSIGNARE staff were in Bologna, Italy, for a training week within Mobiliteach project – In-depth sectoral specialisation of VET teachers, supported by the Erasmus+. During 4 days, together with colleagues from Albania, Germany, Spain, Greece, and Italy, they experienced an intense exchange of experiences. Based at the Golinelli Foundation, it involved laboratory work, where several experiments were carried out: on molecular gastronomy, food safety and the contribution that, through a balanced diet, we can make to environmental protection.
Group work was carried out on how “design thinking” can be put at the service of Tourist organisations, namely by improving skills in the area of empathy towards the Customer, creativity, critical thinking and innovation. A highlight occurred during the digital programming workshop, where they learned to program a small social robot – which the INSIGNARE entourage quickly put into practice.
INSIGNARE shared its process of planning, sending, supporting and evaluating international internships, in a very dynamic exchange with the schools present. We also visited one of the largest schools of Hospitality and Tourism in Bologna, where, in addition to attending various technical moments, prepared by students and teachers of the Kitchen and Living Room, educational systems were compared.
This was the last LTTA to be organised by this partnership, whose results can be found at the project’s website at the following link: https://mobiliteach.net/boost-cross-disciplinarity/
