MOSAIC is the first Centres of Vocational Excellence initiative focused on the Arts and Crafts sectors and, for this reason, it has been groundbreaking in everything that was accomplished in its 48 months of implementation, which will be completed by the end of May.
Before that, MOSAIC partners met one last time in Trento (IT), hosted by Scuola Centrale Formazione and Artigianelli Trento, between April 27th and 30th, 2026, for the final Transnational Partners’ Meeting (TPM) and final Conference dedicated to the theme “Applied Excellence: Professional training as a strategic catalyst for SME innovation and regional development”.
During the final TPM, all partners were able to address the quality of all results achieved in a dynamic group work that was also a chance to highlight the sustainability opportunities of the results of the project. Moreover, partners did and overview of what was promised on the project and what was achieved. Result? MOSAIC accomplished more than what was expected, including:
- Sectoral and transversal training modules (including a module on the Hackathon methodology applied in the International Skills Performance carried out back in 2024 with VET students from all partner countries, their teachers and Arts and Crafts professionals, available on MOSAIC Moodle Platform, here);
- A Green Catalogue that provides tips on how to ensure sustainable travel arrangements when participating in mobility activities;
- An Advocacy Kit aimed at Education providers and Policy/Decision Makers, with materials to be used to present MOSAIC, its main results and how they foster Vocational Excellence in the Arts and Crafts (available here);
- A Technical Paper on the Canadian Technical College Transfer (or CTTC model), written by MOSAIC partners Materahub and LAB Uni, with contributions from the European Training Foundation and the Finnish Ministry of Employment and Social Affairs (available here).
The last phase of MOSAIC implementation period was all about Dissemination and Impact, addressed by a Work Package led by EfVET. As such, the last day of the TPM was mostly dedicated to it, with a presentation of EfVET dedicated to the main results achieved in this Work Package, and to the sustainability of all project results, a presentation made by Materahub (co-leader).
At the end of this meeting, and looking at all results of MOSAIC, partners felt a sense of accomplishment. It is now the time to focus on what comes next, which is narrating all of the work carried out and that led to all of the amazing results achieved in the project!

MOSAIC Final Conference
Hosted by Scuola Centrale Formazione, this Conference was an opportunity to showcase all results of MOSAIC and their benefits for Vocational Education and Training and for the Arts and Crafts ecosystems, and the CTTC model in terms of how it is implemented in Canada, and how this model is being implemented in Finland, with support from the Finnish Ministry.
As such, the panel of speakers included representatives from MOSAIC partners organisations SEPR (Coordinator), Scuola Centrale Formazione and Artigianelli Trento (hosts), Cégep, Materahub, Wooden Oy and LAB Uni (responsible for the CTTC model and Technical Paper), as well as representatives from the Italian Ministry of Education.
MOSAIC Final TPM and Conference were also special because some activities were conducted in parallel with the in person event of the EfVET Internationalisation and Learning Mobility Thematic Team, i.e., MOSAIC partners joined the participants of the TT’s event on an opening session (which had contributions from Mr. Mario Nava, Director of European Commission’s Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion (DG EMPL), with a video-message dedicated to the topic of the Future of Mobility in Erasmus+), on the visit to Artigianneli Trento school, at a session dedicated to MOSAIC training module about Internationalisation (led by UNISER), and at MOSAIC Final Conference.
