MOSAIC Meeting in Matera, hosted by Materahub

As leader of MOSAIC Work Package (WP) 6 Dissemination and Impact, EfVET attended the last WP Leaders’ meeting in Matera (IT), hosted by its Italian Member Materahub, between March 5th and 6th, 2025.

WP Leaders’ Meetings are pivotal for the strategic approach to the project’s implementation, as they allow to deepen discussions and agree on the development process of each of MOSAIC expected results, and how can partners engage the project’s target groups (VET Teachers, Students, professionals working in Arts and Crafts, policy and decision makers, and other key stakeholders) not only with this process, but also with the implementation of those results in benefit of Vocational Excellence in this sector.

During two full days, MOSAIC partners had the opportunity to join with EfVET Italian Members (some of which part of the project’s consortium) for a study visit that took them to Oltre l’Arte Matera to witness the amazing job done by this organisation in fostering inclusion in Arts & Crafts, and to visit some of the main points of Matera on a cultural visit that provided an opportunity to immerse themselves into the history and culture of this amazing city. After these visits and this exchange with EfVET Italian Members, all MOSAIC partners were ready to deep dive into the project, and to set the course for:

  • The conclusion of the Research WP, with the last paper on “Recommendations on how to foster R&D in VET” (all Research papers published so far are available here
  • The finalisation of the piloting phase of MOSAIC Training Modules (still ongoing for all VET Teachers and Students to participate, here;
  • The planning of the first mobility activities for Arts & Crafts professionals, and for VET teachers and learners;
  • The planning of an advocacy kit that will allow educators, researchers, professionals and policy and decision makers to better understand MOSAIC and how to integrate its outcomes and results into practice.

EfVET will soon have a WP6 meeting will all partners to establish the strategy for the upcoming MOSAIC National Dissemination Events, which will take place in the countries represented in the partnership: Armenia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Finland, France and Italy.
