Since July 3rd, Dr. Paolo Nardi is officially the first EfVET Executive Director. His role will be completely focused to help EfVET members in coping with the current challenges, advocating for them and promoting an ecosystemic approach. Since the past decade, the TVET sector, and our societies, have been facing a disruptive era: digital and greening transitions, migration and reduction of barriers at any level, the consolidation of quality and excellence in VET within and beyond the EU border. Global issues require a stronger global interconnection. As well as a partnership and collaboration at both horizontal and vertical levels for an effective governance of the TVET ecosystem: research, industry, training, policy-making have to work together. Very hard but inspiring challenges, on which EfVET with its new Director, the President James Calleja, the Executive Management Team, the EfVET Board and all the staff, are already working for a resilient, sustainable and inclusive future.
