Promoting the active citizenship

Pacetraining is a Eramsus+ KA2 strategic partnership which aims the identification of a specific training programme targeting SN people, namely those affected by genetic related pathologies such as Down Syndrome, autism and others.

AFP Colline Astigiane (Italy)

The project, which is currently in its initial phase, involves the cooperation of 5 partners from 5 different European Countries, each with previous expertise in the field and willing to upskill their competence to work with the target groups:

  • AFP Colline Astigiane from Italy as leader
  • VHS Cham from Germany
  • Keskupuisto Vocational College from Finland
  • Biedriba Malpils Tautskola from Latvia
  • Cece from Spain

The partners started their activities in October 2017 and are currently engaged in the production of preliminary documentation (Country reports and collection of practices and VET-based training methodologies), aiming at the final design and implementation of several project core components:

1) Design and piloting of an ECVET friendly training path addressed to SN people
2) Design and piloting of an ECVET friendly training path addressed to Trainers
3) Design and delivery of a strategic communication campaign addressed to Companies
4) Identification of the necessary condition to replicate the Pacetraining model outside the project partnership, in other geographic contexts and other training path.

Due to the common expertise of all partners and based on the good practice that led them into the project (the Italian Download experience), the project will pilot the overall model in the culinary arts and hotel services field.

The next project core results, whose delivery is expected in late June 2018 will involve the whole design of the training path for SN and the Training course for Trainers and the relevant piloting phases scheduled later on during the project timeframe.

The partners have also agreed to make their work scientifically checked and expendable, thus a scientific supervision is ongoing throughout the overall project by the Neurpsychiatric department of the University of Torino [fusion_builder_container hundred_percent=”yes” overflow=”visible”][fusion_builder_row][fusion_builder_column type=”1_1″ background_position=”left top” background_color=”” border_size=”” border_color=”” border_style=”solid” spacing=”yes” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” padding=”” margin_top=”0px” margin_bottom=”0px” class=”” id=”” animation_type=”” animation_speed=”0.3″ animation_direction=”left” hide_on_mobile=”no” center_content=”no” min_height=”none”][IT].
