The EfVET German National Board met in Berlin on 7 October 2022.

The Chair of the German board, who have organised the meeting in Berlin, introduced themselves and emphasized the importance of the EfVET network for international projects in their schools and beyond.

One of the highlight of the meeting was the welcome message by Joachim James Calleja, EfVET President addressed with a video. In his video message Calleja welcomes the GnB and praises the German Education system as a point of reference for vocational education and training (VET). “VET in general, and work-based- learning (WBL) in particular, are increasingly gaining importance throughout Europe”, Prof Calleja said.

Moreover EfVET President Calleja urged the conference to focus more on alternative ways of learning like apprenticeships and WBL.
