The National Board is chaired by EfVET National Representative, Alfredo Garmendia (Centro San Viator/ Hetel) and it was attended by the following organisations: IKASLAN, Fundació Jesuïtes Educació, Education And Mobility, IES Puerta Bonita, Confederación Española de Centros de Enseñanza (CECE) and INCOMA. These organisations represent different spheres of the VET system in Spain.
The discussion of the meeting started by giving an introduction of EfVET last years of activities and with a brief overview of how EfVET works as an international network and its national presence, showing best practices from different EfVET National boards. Spanish National Board members will attend to EfVET Annual Conference so this was the perfect occasion to coordinate themselves towards the conference, which will take place by the end of October in Italy.
The intense and fruitful discussion among participants allowed to cover a variety of topics considered relevant to boost EfVET in Spain, including a closer approach to the public administration within VET system, more dissemination from members of the National Board towards their networks, and more active contact among members of the National Board through online conferences, and onsite meetings every 3-4 months.
All the organisations firmly believe that EfVET will bring new opportunities for further cooperation with international VET organizations, and that EfVET will be more known in Spain shortly due to the work of National Board.
