The Tourism Thematic Team (TTT) gathers more than 50 EfVET members active in the Tourism sector and interested in the exchange of best practices, pedagogical tools applied to the sector and mobility. Every year the TTT organizes a Thematic Conference.

The Tourism GLOCAL Conference

From 6th to 8th March 2023, Apro Formazione organized the Tourism GLocal conference, in Alba. The annual event of the EfVET Tourism Thematic Team (TTT), involved 27 international organizations, coming from 14 different countries, with the presence of 12 managers, 8 teachers, 5 students and 35 international coordinators. Education and Tourism

From the 30th of May till the 1st of June 2022 the Thematic Team Tourism met in Zwolle, Netherlands. The host school was Landstede which is a regional training centre in the region of Harderwijk and provides secondary vocational education to approximately 11,000 students.

The main topic of the seminar was to discuss the new challenges of tourism and education in these years and to share knowledge and ideas and the good practices of the participants. Therefore, some subgroup sessions were developed during the seminar so as to have different perspectives of the same issue regarding tourism and education. In fact, participants were also divided into three groups in order to have diverse discussions during the sessions.

EFVET Tourism Thematic Team Annual Event 2024

The Tourism Thematic Team Conference facilitates international collaboration, roundtable discussions, and workshops. EfVET Executive Director Paolo Nardi welcoming guest and keynote speakers share the story, presented the tourism in Finland and other speakers.
