Two partnerships where INSIGNARE was involved have almost finished their activities
The partnership “Labour Market at School”, supported by the Erasmus+ program, between schools from Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Portugal, and Turkey, held three meetings: from 7 to 11 February (virtual); from 21 to 25 March it was in Kahranmamas, Turkey; from 3 to 9 April in Vidin, Bulgaria. The partnership “Maker Education”, also supported by the Erasmus+ programme, held the last two meetings: from 21 to 25 February, in Sassuolo, Italy, and from 4 to 8 April, in Jastrzebie-Zdrój, Poland, with schools from six countries: Italy, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Turkey.
The virtual meeting of “Labour Market at School” project was organised by the Greek school, and the activities focused on the development of entrepreneurship skills in the students, who learned the principles of creating a company, free tools for creating the corporate image , creation of a simple website and what it should contain, having applied them in works in international groups.
At the Turkish meeting, students attended an interesting lecture, given by the coordinator of the local Employment Center, on the creation of the CV and interview techniques, including how to promote the items contained in that document for immediate and long-term professional success of the career.
A Hospitality entrepreneur shared with them very relevant tips on creating a company in this area, as well as professional advice for those who do not intend to be entrepreneurs, in which two managers of a beauty center, a popular business in Turkey (and in other countries as well). A class on the local and national economy was given, prior to the tasty visit to one of the largest ice cream factories in the country, where the manufacturing process of the various products was explained.
