VET network: from Denmark to Italy
I.I.S. BRUNELLESCHI/DA VINCI (Italy)
The European and international dimension that characterizes I.I.S. “BRUNELLESCHI/DA VINCI” has been confirmed by the visit of a group of 9 Danish students and 4 teachers from “Tradium” vocational school (Randers). Thanks to the network of technical and vocational schools created within the Erasmus+ INNOTECS our institute belongs to and to the great organizational effort carried out by the headmaster, Mrs Patrizia Carfagna, and by Mrs Edina Furlan, the Danish guests stayed in Frosinone from 30th April to 12th May 2017.
The students and their teachers have been welcomed with an impressive ceremony in the school’s great hall with the participation of the mayor of the city, Mr Nicola Ottaviani. They were given presents concerning the local attractions and traditions.
During their staying, the Danish students have attended lessons and carried out projects and practical tasks in English with the Italian ones, experimenting group work,problem solving, collaborative learning and flipped classroom activities. They have also improved their team work and leadership abilities.
They also had the opportunity to visit Rome, Naples and its “City of Science”, the Archaeological museum in Frosinone and many important tourist attractions in the nearby towns.
The visit of the foreign students and teachers has represented an important occasion to carry out the exchange of those good teaching practices and cultural comparison that will surely enrich the subjects involved.
